President Kagame today received the UN Secretary General’s Central Africa representative, Abdoulaye Bathily with whom he held discussions on various issues concerning the region and the continent.

 

Speaking to the press after the meeting, the UN Secretary General’s representative said the discussions dwelt on security, regional integration, economy among other pertinent matters.

“The UN is concerned about the situation in Burundi and it should not be allowed to deteriorate and this calls for involvement of the region and everyone.”
