President Kagame today received four Turkish InvestorsĀ who called on him at his office in Urugwiro Village.
Speaking to the press after the meeting, the KOZA group Chairman of Board of Directors, Mr. Akin Ipek said:
“Rwanda is a very business friendly country and we are planning to invest in the areas of Mining, Media, Tourism, Education and construction. Soon we shall come back to explore potential mining areas of investment.”
The visit follows last month’s trip by President KagameĀ to Istanbul, Turkey at the invitation of members of the Turkish business community, where he expressed Rwanda’s interest to welcome more Turkish investors.
CEO of Rwanda Development Board (RDB) John Gara said:
“The Turkish investors briefed the President about their plans to come and invest in our country and they expressed so much interest to come back and invest.The President was very pleased and told them that Rwanda is very open for investments.”
