President Kagame today received credentials of 5 new envoys accredited to Rwanda by their countries, who will be resident in various African cities. Envoys who presented their credentials included Taoufik Hnana of Tunisia, Hawa Olga Ndilowe of Malawi, Ralf Heckner of Switzerland, Félix Costales Artieda of Spain and Michel Xavier Biang of Gabon.
Briefing press after presenting their credentials, the envoys expressed commitment to improve relationship between their countries and Rwanda by initiating bilateral activities of mutual interest.
The new Malawian Ambassador to Rwanda, Hawa Olga Ndilowe said both Malawi and Rwanda have a lot to share.
“Rwanda and Malawi have a lot in common. We wish to share best practices in areas of governance, tourism and Agriculture. We also want to learn from each other how the issue of youth employment is tackled, especially through strengthening vocational training.”
The new Ambassador of Switzerland to Rwanda, Ralf Heckner said Switzerland was going to embark on the second phase of the vocational training enhancement in Rwanda, which aims to provide youth with on the job training to improve youth capacities.
The Ambassador also said that the World Economic Forum, which has been held in his country for a long time and is now being held in Rwanda, would enhance Rwanda’s capacity as the country looks to becoming the destiny of choice for international conferences.
