President Kagame today attended the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting Opening Ceremony hosted by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. The opening was followed by an official welcome by the United Kingdom Prime Minister Theresa May.
A biennial gathering, CHOGM brings together 53 member states who this year focus on delivering a more sustainable, fairer, secure, and prosperous future for the people of the Commonwealth.
On the sidelines of the meeting, President Kagame met with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo, UK Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Boris Johnson, and Prince Harry.
