I am happy to welcome you President, on this first visit to our country.

Mr President, we are honoured to host you, and your delegation, for these productive discussions.

The agreements that we will witness, signed today,  represent a meaningful step forward in our bilateral relations. We aim to enhance cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, tourism, and education.

Our continent is large, and our countries are located far apart. The African Continental Free Trade Area offers many opportunities, to engage with one another constructively.

At the same time, threats are transnational, and equally affect us all. Joining forces, and learning from one another, can only make us much stronger.

Mr President, I thank you once again for this visit. You are most welcome, and I am looking forward to the time I can visit you, visit your country, soon.

May I now invite you to make your remarks, as you wish. Welcome, President.
