President Kagame, has officiated at the swearing-in of two new Ministers, Dr. Eugene Mutimura, as Minister for Education and Jean de Dieu Rurangirwa, as Minister of Technology, at Parliament buildings.
In his remarks, President Kagame asked the new leaders to work hand in hand with other leaders so as to collectively deliver the development that Rwandans need.
“I want to wish you today good luck in your new responsibilities and promise you that we shall work closely with you and complement each other in transforming our country.”
President Kagame also inaugurated the Campaign Against Genocide Museum, located within Parliament buildings.
The Campaign Against Genocide Museum includes several monuments, pictures, video and audio materials aimed at depicting the campaign by the Rwanda Patriotic Front to stop the Genocide Against the Tutsi.
The museum serves to recognise the heroic actions of the RPA during the campaign to stop the Genocide against the Tutsi, and to inspire young generations to jealously guard the fruits of liberation.
